David L.

I studied Journalism and History at The City College of New York (CCNY) and law at Rutgers University School of Law.  Early in my career, I was a public affairs writer with a New York State healthcare agency. Then, based on my medical PR experience, I joined a highly respected New York PR firm as an account executive. Over four years, I received several promotions, finally to Vice President. I managed the accounts of a major pharmaceutical company, the commercial division of what is today one of the nation’s largest financial services company, and a leading provider of services to Wall Street, as well as special projects for, among others, a science magazine and a pioneering direct-marketing firm. I was recruited by two of my clients, a multinational and the smaller publicly traded Wall Street service provider, where I would be part of the executive management team. I accepted the latter as it would provide a broader range of management experience.

After 15 years with several of the largest companies in that field, which in part involved corporate and securities law, I joined a nationally known plaintiff’s law firm as Director, External Communications, in which position my familiarity with securities law and marketing communications was of unique value.

A results oriented professional, I have a proven track record in marketing communications, executive counseling and public relations.  My pro bono work includes an appointment to a New York City government agency and longstanding service as a board member of one of the oldest substance abuse treatment programs in the state. That role led to my studying for a credential as a healthcare counselor. Thus, my background combines public service, marketing communications, public relations and behavioral healthcare.

Elisabeth C.

Working at a law firm for many years, part of my responsibilities were opening the files for discovery demands and sending letters to insurance companies and clients.  I have prepared documents such as:  Bill of Particulars, Demands for Witnesses’, Demands for CPLR 2102 (d), Demands for Collateral Source Information, Notice to Produce and Demand Notices for Examination before Trial.  I also did Answers and Discovery Demands for the U.S. Federal District Court and electronically sent said Answers and Demands to the Federal District Court.  I was the calendar clerk for the last three years working with this firm where I managed the calendar and set up depositions for clients with law offices for all parties and I also set up meetings for discovery and inspection purposes for law firms on these occasions.  I am a dedicated conscientious worker who gives 100% of my ability.
