Job description

Seeking an Accounting Clerk to provide support to our Accounting Department and assist with various duties. Seeking a highly reliable and professional applicant to fulfill important responsibilities as part of a small, tight-knit team.

Hours: 8:30am to 4:30pm (Monday to Friday)

Duties/Requirements include:

  • Reviewing and processing daily deposits
  • Entering journal entries into the Accounting log
  • Ensuring collections are completed
  • Processing pre-pay customers (credit card charges)
  • Processing weekly invoicing and credits
  • Resolving any invoicing issues re: incorrect rates, incorrect hours, etc.
  • Collecting purchase orders for incoming orders; monitoring usage
  • Completing certified payroll reports for invoicing
  • Processing account requests
  • Scanning and filing weekly invoicing and timesheets
  • Performing other related duties as needed

What you need to have

  • Must be able to multi-task with an excellent eye for detail
  • Proficiency with Lotus and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Appropriate education, training and /or certification
Prior experience & qualifications
  • Relevant prior work experience
  • Excellent customer service skills (via phone and in-person)
  • Must understand and communicate clearly in English
