Job description

Seeking courteous and professional workers with strong attention to detail. Will perform diversified administrative and secretarial duties. Office location near Northern Blvd in Long Island City, Queens.

Hours: 9:00am to 5:00pm

Duties will include:

  • Responsible for researching and responding to customers with standard letters
  • Making telephone calls to customers and responding to phone inquiries
  • Inputting of information into database, searching internal database to answer queries
  • Entering data for payment with a high degree of accuracy
  • Meeting deadlines and work with staff/supervisors in a courteous, cooperative and professional manner
  • Coordinating the flow of people, paper, and phone calls in and out of the office
  • Any special projects assigned by management

What you need to have

  • Microsoft Office software, eg. MS Word and Excel
  • Strong customer service skills and mindset
  • Basic computer skills for office environment
  • Typing speed a minimum of 40 wpm
Prior experience & qualifications
  • Some administrative/secretarial experience
