Location: Albany, NY

Hours: Full-time (day shift)

Qualified Administrative professional needed to work in the State Supplement Program providing support during the period of program transition from Federal to State administration


  • Handling phone calls from recipients who received letters from various government agencies about the change. The nature of the calls received after transition require inquiry into the SSP system and play an important role in the operation
  • Completing benefit verification forms (approximately 300 per day) that are needed by SSP recipients who reside in subsidized housing
  • Assisting with the tasks involved with ACH failures, check and benefit returns
  • Preparing disability and fair hearing packets
  • Performing scanning and work-item creation functions

What you need to have

  • Computer skills and attention to detail required
  • Excellent professional phone and interpersonal etiquette required
Prior experience & qualifications
  • Prior office experience is highly preferred
