Jobsite location: Court Square, Long Island City, Queens

Daily schedule 9:00 a.m. — 5:00 a.m. (Full time)

The Purchasing Clerk will be responsible for purchases made by the organization. Long-term assignment!

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Evaluating and approving vendors and authorizing purchase orders for goods or services
  • Performing a variety of tasks
  • May lead and direct the work of others

What you need to have

Skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of general office software, such as Word and Excel as requested
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Prior experience & qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience in the field or any combination of education and experience totaling 6 years
Languages
