Field Technicians work both inside and outdoors, traveling to customer locations for installations and troubleshooting. Resourceful individuals with strong technical proficiency, excellent customer service skills and great time-management abilities are sought for all levels of experience and certifications. Duties include:


  • Inspecting equipment
  • Discussing customer concerns and addressing questions
  • Independently diagnosing service issues and constructing innovative solutions
  • Handling installations and disconnects
  • Configuring systems to required standard
  • Explaining to users about company products and equipment
  • Effectively managing scheduling demands

What you need to have

  • Excellent listening skills to understand and calm customers with issues
  • Self-reliant, innovative thinker
  • Basic knowledge of electronics, computers, software and network connectivity
  • Have the physical stamina to scale 20-foot ladders and poles
  • Able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
Prior experience & qualifications
  • Valid Driver’s License & clean driving record
  • Prior experience in the cable/direct access TV industry and formal electronics training is a plus
  • Able to work flexible hours
  • Work outdoors in various locations and weather extremes
