Job description

Candidates will be required to travel to various recruitment events in all 5 NYC boroughs

Hours: 9:00am to 5:00pm

Perform a variety of human resources tasks and activities including but not limited to:

  • Managing and handling of employee benefits, recruiting, interviewing or hiring of staff in accordance with policy
  • Aiding by the company's effective utilization of employees by providing training and development opportunities
  • Assisting employees with and helps resolve work related issues such as leave and disputes
  • Supervise human resources programs and policies including staffing, compensation, benefits, visa/green card processing, employee relations, training, and health and safety programs
  • Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Perform a variety of related tasks
  • May be responsible for leading and directing the work of others
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected

What you need to have

  • Ability to utilize HRIS software, such as Silkroad, PeopleSoft, or equivalents (prior knowledge not required)
  • Must be able to lift and carry giveaways, flyers and the likes to and from these events (weighing up to 50 pounds)
  • Will be held responsible for any equipment used outside the office at events
  • Knowledge and understanding of general office software, such as Microsoft Word/Excel, or equivalents
Prior experience & qualifications
  • 1+ years of related experience or any combination of education and experience
