Location: Downtown Brooklyn, NY
Hours: 9:00am to 5:00pm; Full time
The purpose of this position is to administer activities and process transactions for one of the following Human Resources areas: Benefits, Employment, Human Resources Information Systems and Training.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Gathers, validates and maintains data and other transaction inputs
- Enters transactions in HRIS system and the service request management tool
- Retrieves, indexes and reviews scanned documents and forms
- Provides satisfactory customer service by receiving, analyzing, researching and resolving queries
- Integrates across BSC teams to document, research and resolve basic issues and errors
- Performs / supports cyclical processing and period-end activities
- Develops and updates operating procedures and training materials as needed
- Understands the company vision including how responsibilities fit into strategies
- Maintains appropriate level of process, functional and technical knowledge and training
- Ensures that all assignments are completed within the specifications of the agreed-to Service Level Agreement
- Identifies and implements continuous improvement initiatives as assigned
- Identifies and documents input to knowledge management tool
- Supports project activities including requirements gathering, functional design & configuration, testing, training design, development & delivery, postproduction support

- Working knowledge and use of HRIS database software

- Familiarity with performance metrics and the ability to meet identified targets
- Working knowledge of service request management tools
- Working knowledge and proficient with office productivity tools (e.g., GroupWise, MS Office applications), web-based applications, and Shared Services
Prior experience & qualifications
- 2+ years of related HR data processing experience or Bachelor's degree required
- Possesses specific work experience for Human Resources area hired
