M-F 8:30am – 4:30pm

Position requires the ability to commute to the Northern & Southern NJ areas (80% Travel required)


  • Responsible for the day-to-day NJ operations
  • Recruiting, interviewing and screening applicants for placement
  • Assisting candidates with completing paperwork to ensure the file is complete
  • Ensuring compliance to all laws regarding forms and records
  • Assisting the Placement Department in filling job orders
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with community based organizations (CBOs) in order to get candidate referrals for job openings and serving as liaison to CBO partners
  • Becoming familiar with CBO’s in order to assist when observing applicants in the system
  • Following up with customers, applicants and CBO’s to keep communication lines open and strengthen relationships
  • Conducting research to find new resources (job boards, CBO’s etc) to find qualified applicants
  • Scheduling appointments via telephone, along with emails to all new consumers, whether coming from internet site or Community Based Organizations (CBO)
  • Recruiting qualified candidates to build candidate pool for NJ positions
  • Building a pool of qualified candidates for Southern NJ customer positions
  • Acting as supervisor for temps and ensuring processes/procedures and end task assignments are completed
  • Attending meetings and other recruiting events frequently
  • Interviewing and screening candidates to determine eligibility for positions
  • Using resources and partnerships to attract ideal candidates for positions (attending job fairs/events, creating/distributing eBlasts and job ads and other referral sources)
  • Entering files and verifying information in databases
  • Addressing and resolving any issues/concerns that arise and using judgment to make the right decisions
  • Using customer requests to match the right candidates to open positions
  • Making decisions and finding creative ways to streamline tasks
  • Training staff on processes and procedures and providing supervision
  • Performing other office/administrative duties as needed
  • Exercising full authority over the intake process
  • Ensuring that all applicant forms are complete and accurate

What you need to have

  • Able to work independently and with the team
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills and research skills and the ability to relate well to job-seeking applicants
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and Databases and must be computer literate
  • Must be reliable, eager to learn, organized and capable of managing multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Must remain in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Ensure all procedures are followed
Prior experience & qualifications
  • 2 years college plus 2 years related experience or 4 years related experience
  • Prior management and related experience strongly preferred
  • Travel to Northern and Southern NJ areas is required (approximately 80% travel)
