Job description

Seeking strong professional Administrative Assistant to:

  • Perform a wide variety of program and administrative support duties based on agency business needs
  • Perform general office, secretarial, fiscal, and support activities
  • Serve as first point-of-contact for their assigned program
  • Apply knowledge of office practices, proper grammar, spelling and punctuation, and basic arithmetic to perform tasks
  • Manage multi-line phone and learn voice-mail system
  • Effectively communicate with all individuals verbally and in writing
  • Establish and maintain automated and manual filing systems

What you need to have

Skills
  • Customer service, filing, typing/data entry, scanning and making folders
  • Proficiency in the use of personal computers in a Windows environment including Microsoft Word 6.0, Word Perfect, Excel or Lotus, and database management software applications
Prior experience & qualifications
  • 1+ years experience in an office environment
