Job description

Supports IT, Capital, Grants and other Finance projects. Provides continuity when senior officers are out of the office. Manages Finance IT projects by ensuring that units are in sync and meeting deadlines. Assists in writing and editing business case proposals, small project requests and requirements. Gathers information and writes capital requests. Tracks and reports capital budget and expenses. Provides grant tracking and reporting, researches new grants. Follows up with staff for input to grant applications and approvals. Tracks and reports grant expenditures.

  • Work with program offices to develop solicitation specifications and associated pricing forms
  • Facilitate all phases of the Professional Services acquisition process, including provider selection and supplier negotiations
  • Prepare Executive Summaries for RFP, RFB, company approvals and requests
  • Tabulate, review and analyze vendor proposals and bids to ensure that the proposals meet minimum qualifications
  • Review procurement and contract documents for accuracy
  • Provide guidance to external providers and program staff to facilitate the development and registration of contracts
  • Perform analyses using spreadsheets; write presentations or memos using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Setup and attends meetings to gather or share information
  • Support other clerical functions where necessary

What you need to have

  • Demonstrable proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly developed analytical skills
  • Close attention to detail
Prior experience & qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Prior management analyst or other relevant experience
