Job description

  • Perform clerical, typing, keyboarding, filing and/or data entry tasks
  • Perform a variety of tasks designed to assist both the community and individuals in making effective use of specific program services
  • Operate a PC or mini based data entry system
  • Complete intake forms and verify eligibility of applicants for various Federal and State funded programs
  • Transcribe and type correspondences, reports involving terminology unique to a specific medical, engineering or other technical field
  • Proofread material to verify typographic accuracy and content coherence
  • Use a full range of skills in the operation of a typewriter or word processing equipment, maximizing equipment capability in compiling statistical information for various reports, setting up and maintaining records and filing systems, and compiling information
  • Operate and maintain complex manual and/or automated filing system
  • Process orders, receive stock, store and distribute supplies in an automated inventory control system and the physical maintenance and up-keep of the stock area and all associated equipment

What you need to have

  • Computer knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs
Prior experience & qualifications
  • Prior related experience preferred

**Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
