Job description

Skilled, meticulous candidates with strong writing skills are sought to compile information and records for the purpose of drawing up purchase orders for procurement of materials and services. Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Assisting with the drafting of procurement documents
  • Overseeing the solicitation process for technology purchases
  • Reviewing procurement/contract documents to ensure accuracy and procurement policies
  • Providing assistance to vendors/staff to facilitate the development, solicitation and registration of contracts
  • Working with staff to develop solicitation specifications and associated pricing forms
  • Tabulating, reviewing and analyzing vendor proposals and bids to ensure that the proposals meet requirements
  • Facilitating all phases of technology services (hardware/software acquisition process and supplier negotiations)
  • Conducting research on established contracts and proposed technical requirements as needed
  • Supporting other clerical functions in the unit

What you need to have

Skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
  • Strong writing skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Able to interact professionally with staff/clients at all times
Prior experience & qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience utilizing computer skills in a professional office setting
Languages
