Job description

Articulate and presentable front desk receptionist needed for professional office setting near Battery Park in Lower Manhattan. 9 to 5 schedule.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Greeting vendors, customers, job applicants and other visitors
  • Answering inquiries and providing information to the general public, customers, visitors, and other interested parties regarding activities conducted at the establishment and the location of departments, offices, and employees within the organization
  • Must operate a multi-line phone or switchboard to route incoming calls to 10-20 extensions and to place outgoing calls

What you need to have

  • Has knowledge of office skills and procedures
  • Knowledge of MS Word and typing speed of 25 wpm
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Polite and presentable persona
Prior experience & qualifications
  • 3 or more years of related experience
