Location: Lower Manhattan, NY

Hours: 8:00am to 4:00pm (PART-TIME – 3 DAYS PER WEEK: MON/TUE/WED)

Highly responsible and professional candidate needed to provide high-level administrative support at the worksite. Conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings.

Other duties include:

  • Assisting and monitoring staff by observation and feedback
  • Ensuring that all agency policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Preparing and distributing schedules of work activities and assignments for staff
  • Providing timetables for efficient completion of tasks and coverage during hours of operation
  • Facilitating the loading/unloading by hand-moving items, boxes and other related items for storage
  • Tracking and maintaining staff time and leave
  • Documenting and recommending dismissal of staff that fail to perform the job and/or engage in misconduct or inappropriate behavior

What you need to have

Skills
  • Type 45 wpm with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint, Outlook and/or Access as requested
Prior experience & qualifications
  • 5 years of experience providing administrative support required
  • High school diploma or educational equivalent required
