Job description

We are looking for motivated, experienced workers to fulfil high-level clerical duties in a social services office in Mount Vernon.

Duties include:

  • Completing intake forms and verifying eligibility of applicants for funded programs
  • Entering data to compile statistical information for various reports
  • Typing, proof-reading and completion of reports
  • Compiling and maintaining records and filing systems
  • Processing orders, receiving stock, storing and distributing supplies
  • Maintaining inventory and physical maintenance and up-keep of the stock area and associated equipment

What you need to have

  • Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Possess a full range of skills to operate office equipment
Prior experience & qualifications
  • Prior related experience preferred
