Job description

Exciting opportunity to work in a prestigious NYC office providing technical helpdesk assistance to computer users. The Computer Support Specialists will assist the IT Operations team in setting up computers and answering helpdesk tickets, providing support to end users on a variety of issues. Worksite located in Lower Manhattan.

Specific duties will include:

  • Answering questions or resolving computer problems, responding to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support
  • Providing assistance with the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems
  • Identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
  • Documenting, tracking and monitoring the problem to ensure a timely resolution

What you need to have

Skills
  • Strong technical knowledge; familiarity with troubleshooting tickets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong facility with providing customer service
  • Must be able to perform minor heavy lifting, pushing and/or pulling associated with setting up individuals' computers
Prior experience & qualifications
  • 6 years computer support experience
  • Associates degree or equivalent technical experience
Languages
This opportunity requires fluency in English
