Job description

We are recruiting for reliable Stock Clerks to work full time on a document inventory project. Worksite location in Long Island City, Queens.

Duties include:

  • Sorting, reviewing and processing incoming documents based on specific guidelines according to instructions
  • Preparing and packaging outgoing documents to sites and vendors ensuring accuracy at multiple process points
  • Recording contents of each box on appropriate packing slips,
  • Labeling and identifying each box to ensure proper shipment and receipt.
  • Emptying and filling boxes, stocking and organizing shelves
  • Counting and performing inventory of items
  • Performing basic data entry and/or record keeping on automated equipment

What you need to have

  • Must be able to stand, lift (up to 40lbs), reach and bend for long periods of time
  • Able to count and perform inventory as needed
  • Computer proficiency required
Prior experience & qualifications
  • Prior work experience and demonstrable reliability will be taken into account
