Today's skyscraper window washers face dizzying heights and the elements, but have nothing on these 1930's Empire State Building window washers.

The idea of hanging outside a window at 1000ft with only a thin leather strap being all that is stopping gravity from introducing me to the sidewalk below sends my stomach into my mouth. Check out the video below, and try not to let vertigo get the better of you.
